Welcome to my crafty blog and my regular Sunday dip back into Claritystamp’s Craft Club. This time it’s February 2021 and the ‘with love floral forest’ die, which I’ve paired with the colours from Just Add Ink and the left hand diagonal of heart, free & die cut from TicTacToe‘s grid

The first step was to blend SU ‘orchid oasis’ and ‘tahitian tide’ inks onto a small square of white card (I’m staying with my sister this weekend so was able to pinch her inkpads!) I cut the die into another piece of white card and then attached it to the blended background.

I then used some scraps of ‘polished pink’ card (also from my sister’s stash – it’s family after all!) and cut the die into them so that I could paper piece the flowers and hearts.

And that’s all there was to it! I would say that it wasn’t too taxing, but some of the paper piecing was very small – I definitely needed my glasses and a steady hand!
