Hello crafty friends. I decided to play with the ‘floral forest’ stamp from Clarity – it’s been in my stash for a while and not emerged for some time! I picked up the colour palette from CAS Colours & Sketches and the ‘romantic’ theme from Time Out for this card.

The ‘floral forest’ is a three-way stamp set, but I just went with the outline image which I stamped in ‘shadow grey’ Archival ink. I used Stampin’ Up! marker pens in ‘poppy parade’ (the nearest I’d got to ‘cherry cobbler’), ‘granny apple green’ and ‘blackberry bliss’ to fill in the image.

I attached a strip of green ribbon to a square of white card, mounted it onto a co-ordinating layer of Clarity’s ‘Amazonia’ companion papers and glued it to a 5×5 card blank. I used a nested heart die to cut out the image and attached it to the card front.

I tied a small bow in the green ribbon and attached it to the top of the heart, then finished with one of the new KISS word stickers from Clarity that summed up the feel of the card perfectly.

Thanks for dropping in. It’s a very grey and wet January day here – a perfect afternoon for crafting!
This is absolutely beautiful.

So much to love about this card Deborah! A great way to re-shape your stamp and I love the addition of the green ribbon and bow too, giving the ornament/bauble effect. I’m a sucker for a sweet sentiment too – love this one! And beautifully clean and simple – bravo! Thanks for playing with our colour challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches this week!
