Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m still trying to get Christmas cards finished – I never seem to have enough despite trying to make them throughout the year! Today’s uses the retired ‘arrange a wreath’ set from Stampin’ Up!, inspired by the sketch at Inspire.Create and the photo at The Card Concept

I started with a piece of card trimmed to fit a 5×7 card blank and stamped the wreath onto it twice using ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxide.

I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white card, trimmed the ends into banners and glued it across the centre of the card to hide the overlap of the wreaths, then attached it to the card blank.

I die cut the co-ordinating wreath twice in SU’s ‘garden green’ card and glued them onto the card front.

The final step was to stamp the flowers in ‘festive berries’ Distress Oxide, die cut them and glue onto the central wreath.

Thanks for dropping in. Only a couple of weeks to Christmas now – life is certainly gathering pace!
Lovely. The red flowers really lifted it!
