Hello there. I had a spare couple of hours this afternoon, so caught up with some design team cards for later in the week, together with a few others I needed to finish. I made this one using the retired ‘on the horizon’ paper & dies from Stampin’ Up!, picking up the sketch from AAA cards. I’ve used the colour palette from Just Us Girls challenge and the ‘wheels’ theme from The Paper Players

I found a piece of the SU ‘new horizons’ paper that had the right colours in it, cut three strips and glued them across the bottom of an A6 card blank.

I cut one of the fences from the ‘horizons’ set in white card, together with the bicycle from the ‘windmill’ dies using a scrap piece of kraft card, then glued both to the card front. Fortunately, I’d remembered to put an adehsive sheet on the back of the kraft card before cutting it, which made life a lot easier as it’s such a fine die cut.

I finished by stamping the sentiment from ‘art gallery’ onto the top strip of paper using ‘potting soil’ Archival ink.

Thanks for dropping in. I’m really pleased with the way this little scene has turned out!
What an interesting sketch, I love it! Your little bicycle is perfect against those dreamy papers, especially with the little fence. Clever idea! Thanks for playing with my CAS challenge at the Players this week!
