Hello there – Monday again and heading into a busy week, but I managed to grab a bit of time for crafting this afternoon. I’ve used the retired ‘beautiful friendship’ set from Stampin’ Up!, which I thought would work for a slightly different take on CAS Colours & Sketches‘s layout. I’ve also used the colour palette from Colour INKspiration and left my card without a sentiment for TGIF challenges. I do like cards without sentiments sometimes – they’re useful to have just to drop a note to someone.

I started by stamping the large flower from ‘beautiful friendship’ in Highland Heather onto a square of white card.

I then added a few leaves in ‘granny apple green’ and the tiny sprigs on ‘blackberry bliss, echoing the stars on the layout.

I finished by stamping the dots from the ‘avant garden’ set in ‘night of navy’ around the flowers. Then mounted it on a layer of heather card and onto a 5×5 card blank.

Thanks for dropping in. I do like getting out my older stamps from time to time so they’re not just sitting on my shelf taking up space!

What a delightful and super soft design, Deborah. These “old” stamps work beautiful for the sketch. Thanks so much for joining us at CC&S.
