Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses up a few scraps and offcuts of card, thanks to the theme at Just Us Girls. I do know that some of these pieces might be a bit too big to officially be a scrap, but I didn’t cut into a single full size piece of card or paper for this one! I’ve taken the sketch from Inspire.Create.

I started with a piece of olive green card that was big enough to make into an A6 card blank (there’s such joy in finding pieces in my stash that are roughly the right size!) I had an offcut from Stampin’ Up!’s ‘expressions in ink’ set and trimmed it down to fit the card front, then used a rectangle die to cut the centre out and glued the outer part to the card front..

I had another bit of the olive card that was big enough to cut a mat from (happy days!), so mounted the centre patterned piece onto it and then glued onto the card front, making sure that the pattern lined up.

I’ve got a whole box of white card scraps on my desk, so used a couple of those – one for the banner and the second to stamp the leaves from ‘artistically inked’ which I then die cut. They both went onto the card front with foam pads.

Am I the only one who celebrates when I can make a card without cutting into a new sheet of paper?
So pretty…are the flowers a patterned paper? Pretty card Deborah! Thanks for joining us at Tic Tac Toe!
