Welcome to my crafty blog and another card with summer strawberries (well, it is Wimbledon fortnight! It’s a further outing for the retired ‘sweet strawberry’ set from Stampin’ Up, this time using the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the ‘be kind’ theme from Time Out

I trimmed a piece of the retired ‘berry delightful’ SU designer paper, mounted it on a layer of ‘garden green’ card and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

I punched and stamped two strawberries with leaves, using Distress Oxides in ‘festive berries’, ‘mowed lawn’ & ‘rustic wilderness’, glued them together and attached to the card front with foam pads.

I stamped the sentiment in ‘rustic wilderness’, cut it out with one of the ‘tasteful labels’ dies and used a foam pad to fix it on the card front to finish.

I do love British strawberries when they’re in season during the summer – they’re always so full of flavour, and healthy as well (until you add the double cream, of course!)
So sweet, Deb – I so loved this paper! Very fun and summery take on our sketch! Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!
