Hello there. I’m back with another card using the new ‘daisy buttons’ stamnp set from Julie Hickey Designs. I’ve stepped it up a little from yesterday’s offering, but it’s still basically a CAS design. I used the colours from Inspire.Create (well, the nearest I had as I don’t have the Stampin’ Up! ones), with the layout from Freshly Made Sketches

I started by repeat stamping the sentiment from the set down a strip of white card, using ‘chipped sapphire’ Distress Oxide. I brushed more of the ink around the edge and then attached it to an A6 card blank.

I then stamped one of the small flower circles twice and the single flower with leaves, and coloured them with Pergamano pens, matching them to the challenge colours. I left the colouring a little ‘scruffy’, to reflect the hand drawn lines on the images, then die cut the circles and fussy cut the flower.

All I then neeeded to do was attach them to the card front with foam pads. I decided it didn’t need another sentiment stamping on it, as the strip of card says it all!

Thanks for dropping in. I hope your weekend is going well – we’ve had beautiful sunshine here today which was very welcome.
Nice!
