Welcome to my crafty bog and another card using Stampin’ Up!’s ‘plentiful plants’ set. I feel like I’ve really got my eye in with these stamps & dies now, so keep going back to them. I thought they’d work really well with the colours from Inspire.Create and I’ve added in the ‘make your own stencil’ challenge from Just Us Girls.
I started with Claritystamp’s ‘lattice pattern’ aperture die and cut it into a piece of white card. I thought it would look like a piece of trellis behind the plants.

I then paid it over a square of white card and blended ‘pumice stone’ Distress Oxide through it (that’s the nearest ink I’ve got to ‘sahara sand’). I made a 6×6 card blank from ‘crumb cake’ (again, the nearest colour I’d got) and attached stencilled square to it. I cut a narrow frame in the ‘crumb cake’ using square nested dies and glued that to sit around the stencilled area.

I used my Stampin’ Up! Write markers to ink up the plant pots and leaves, then die cut them and glued them together. I used the ‘misty moonlight’ for both pots, ‘soft succulent for the leafy plant and ‘evening evergreen’ for the succulent stems. I attached them to the corner of the card using foam pads.

I finished by stamping the sentiment from a Lawn Fawn set on the ‘misty moonlight’ and cut it into a banner using one of the SU ‘tasteful labels’ dies. A few dark red SU resin dots gave it the final touch.

Thanks for dropping in. Inspire.Create have got a design team call out during this challenge – I hope this is good enough to be considered!
Beautiful!
