Hello crafty friends. Well it’s day 8 of my 12 Dies of Clarity challenge, with the ‘love aperture’ from the Craft Club in August.

I started with the card on the right of the photo, which is nice and simple. I cut the die into the centre of a square of white card and then added one of Clarity’s square ‘nested doodle frame-it’ dies around it. I mounted the white card onto a piece of ‘Indian Summer’ designer paper and then attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

For the second card, I ran Clarity’s A5 ‘hearts’ stencil through my Gemini to emboss it onto the card. I decided to use the de-bossed side (that’s the one where the hearts are indents, rather than raised) and attached it to a 5×7 card blank.

I die cut the ‘love aperture’, this time out of the ‘Indian Summer’ paper, and then trimmed it into four squares, each with a separate letter. I’d put ‘Stick It’ on the back so was easily able to attach them down the left hand side of the card front, in a strip.

I finished with one of the word stickers mounted on a little offcut of the designer paper and die cut 3 small hearts to scatter around it.

I was really pleased with how these turned out – they’ll be perfect for Valentine’s Day next month.
Fabulous cards!
