Hello crafty friends. So here we are on day 7 of my ’12 Dies of Clarity’ with the ‘butterfly tangle’ die from July’s Craft Club.

I have actually used this one before, so thought I’d re-share the link to that post as well as creating a new card. Here’s the one I made earlier, back in September – just click this link an autumn butterfly to read that blog

For today’s card, I started with a strip of ‘Antarctica’ paper and stamped ‘Tina’s floral spray’ onto it in black Archival before attaching it to a 5×7 card blank.

I cut the ‘butterfly tangle’ out of black card and stuck it to the card front, overlapping the paper strip.

I recut the butterfly in an offcut of the ‘Antarctica’ paper, snipped it out of the outer circle and glued it on top of the black one. The final touch was to add a black word sticker.

Thanks for dropping in. I hope you’ve had a happy first day of 2022. Ours has been quiet, but we’ll party tomorrow when my sister and nieces come to visit – we had to postpone it from Boxing Day as we were isolating. In the meantime I’m going to share this card at Inspired by challenge – they’ve asked us to CASE (copy and selectively edit) a card by one of the previous blog winners from 2021. I was a bit tempted to reprise my card that was the top pick from their challenge back in June (!), but instead chose the card from Loll that was the challenge winner in October for #IB189C. I worked with Loll’s layout, although I’ve completely changed the colours so hope I’ve not pushed it too far!
Gorgeous!
