Hello crafty friends. Well it’s Sunday again so I’m dipping back into Claritystamp’s new design stamp club – today it’s for the ‘vintage phone’ from January 2018. I really wasn’t sure how best to use this stamp (it’s not my usual style), so adapted one of Dee Paramour’s designs from the project sheet that comes with the club stamps.
I started by stamping the phone in Archival black onto a piece of kraft card and then coloured it using blue, dark grey and white Spectrum Noir pencils. I blended a little ‘chipped sapphire’ Distress Oxide around the edge to soften it.

Next I trimmed down a piece of Clarity’s ‘Great Lakes’ designer paper, again blended ‘chipped sapphire’ around the edges and then attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

I stamped the sentiment from Clarity’s ‘art nouveau’ set onto a small piece of kraft card and blended the ‘chipped sapphire’ around it. Both pieces then went onto the card front using foam tape.

Thanks for dropping in. No blog challenge to share this one with, as most of them are taking well earned breaks for the next couple of weeks. I’m off to an outdoor carol service at my church this afternoon – Christmas is definitely coming!
Looks good to me!
