Christmas cottage

Hello crafty friends – just for a change I thought I’d share a Christmas card with you today (ha, ha!) This is a simple one layer card, using another of the Jayne Nestorenko ‘winter scene’ stamp sets from Claritystamp.

I started by just stamping the cottage image straight onto a 5×5 kraft card blank, using ‘watering can’ Archival ink. I then used the outer part of a Clarity moon mask and brushed white Brilliance ink across it for the moon.

I then used a white gel pen to add the snowy highlights to the image – basically adding the white to the lines on the image where the snow would have settled. I scattered some white ultra high WOW powder across the the sky and heated it to make it look as though it was snowing.

All I then needed to do was add the sentiment (this one is from the church winter scene set), again stamping it in ‘watering can’.

Thanks for dropping in. I’m going to share this creation with Global Design Project, where their theme is ‘Christmas’. Only five weeks to go…!
