Welcome to my crafty blag and a quick Christmas card using Stampin’ Up!’s new ‘stars are shining’ set. I decided to go for a bit less of a traditional colour scheme with the palette from the new challenge at Color Throwdown, which I teamed with the layout from Freshly Made Sketches

I started by stamping the baubles, strings and sentiment and heat embossing them with WOW’s gold metallic powder.

I then coloured in the baubles using SU’s write markers in ‘coastal cabana’, ‘polished pink’ and ‘fresh freesia’.

I ran an A6 card blank through SU’s ‘subtle texture’ embossing folder and then added a strip of gold card down the middle before mounting the topper onto it. A few gold Glossies for the finishing touch!

Just a quick post today as I’m in the middle of a load of work meetings, but I always need a bit of crafty time to keep me going!
