Welcome to my crafty blog. I’m busy batch making Christmas cards and thought I’d share one of them with you today – I’ve been using the ‘peace framer’ stamp from Claritystamp. I really like this series of stamps, as you can put little scenes inside the large letters, which gives lots of potential variety.
I started with a piece of navy card and heat embossed ‘peace’ and the star with Wow’s metallic silver powder.

I then cut a mask for the ‘C’ using a sticky note and stamped the little tree underneath the star with ‘cobalt blue’ Archival ink.

The final step was to scatter some of Wow’s bright white ultra high powder across the top part of the card and then heat emboss it. You can decide whether this is snow or stars, but either way I really like the effect! I finished by attaching the card to a 5×5 card blank and it was done.

Thanks for dropping in. It’s the beginning of September tomorrow, so the countdown to Christmas will begin!
Scary to think its the first of September tomorrow!! After your help I am now waiting on delivery of my Tim Holtz stamping platform then hopefully this will help in getting back my crafty mojo and starting on my Christmas cards. Thank you for the inspiration, and I think they are stars twinkling in the night sky.
