Welcome to my crafty blog, and another journey back into Claritystamp’s new design club. It feels very strange to be posting this card on a warm June Sunday, but I’m now up to November 2014 on this little retro trip, which was the ‘Santa’s car’ stamp, so it just had to be a Christmas card!

I started with one of my favourite Clarity dies, which I haven’t used for a while – the ‘treescape’. I cut it in white card, and then used a brayer to cover it with WOW clear ink before heat embossing it with clear sparkle powder. You can’t have too much sparkle at Christmas! I popped it onto a black 5×5 card blank so the snowy trees really stand out.

I then stamped ‘Santa’s car’ onto black card and heat embossed it with WOW’s superfine bright white powder. I coloured it red with one of my Spectrum Noir pencils, which worked really well on the black card (and anyway what other colour would Santa have?!). I fussy cut it and then attached the car to the front of the card with a foam pad.

So that’s another in the bag in good time for Christmas! I might add a sentiment nearer the time, but I couldn’t decide today so left it without – what do you think?

Love this!
