Hello. welcome to my little crafty blog. I spent some time this afternoon working on my colouring technique (I’ve been following the daily YouTube videos from Barbara Gray at Claritystamp https://www.youtube.com/user/Claritystamp), and this seemed like the perfect sentiment for a Sunday afternoon.
I used one of the ‘Poetry’ collection from Claritystamp, and started by stamping it onto a piece of the ‘Toscana’ designer paper

I then spent a quiet half hour colouring in the frame and leaves with Spectrum Noir pencils. Hopefully the shading I’ve tried to achieve has worked.

I added the small ‘with love’ sentiment stamped onto a spare piece of the Toscana paper and edged it with a black Sharpie, before mounting the whole piece onto a 5×7 card blank.

I’m entering this card into this week’s Freshly Made Sketches blog challenge at https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/ I thought the leafy frame was perfect for the sketch design

Thanks for dropping in. I hope you’ve managed to find some time just to stand (or sit) and stare this weekend.
