Hello everyone. Barbara was back on Clarity Social TV this afternoon putting the new Christmas goodies through their paces. These fun little Bell Jar toppers are ideal for backgrounds on quick cards – I paired this one up with a couple of the images from the Wee Christmas Friends & Family – Christmas Joy stamp set (it’s the same set that has the robin from yesterday’s card on it)

This time, I started with one of the tiny snowflake images, stamping it in Versamark clear ink with the aid of a stamp pen and then heat embossing it with WOW’s superfine white powder.

Next was to add the little tree landscape in ‘thistle’ Archival, together with one of the sentiments from the the Christmas Bell Jar stamps – these fit perfectly into the little rectangle box.

Now, you know I love an embedder and these toppers come with one made to fit around the bell jar shape so I had to put it to use, attaching it to the front of my card with low tack tape and then using a bone folder and small ball tool to emboss around the edges on the reverse of the card. Having added a simple mount of Indian Summer companion paper, I attached it to a 5×5 card blank. The final step was to add some snow to the tree with a fine white Posca pen.

I’ve spent part of the evening catching up with Barb’s show as I was out this afternoon – it’s always such a treat to see what the rest of the Clarity design team have done with these little goodies.
And now I’m going to share this with a couple of challenges. Just Add Ink have got Christmas as their theme, and Sparkles Christmas are looking for CAS cards.

The word Peace is so appropriate on this design. It screams peace to me and is very lovely.
