Hello everyone. I’ve had a busy day looking after my 18 month old grandson (he is just full of energy!) so am dropping in to share a card with the Friends, Sisters & Angels collection that were released last year – for once I’ve used all four of the stamp sets on this card!

I started by stamping ‘Celeste’ in black Archival onto a piece of Super Smooth paper, then covered her with the pre-cut mask that is part of the stamp set. That made it easy to create my little group of friends by adding ‘Alice’ to the left and ‘Evelyn’ to the right.

I’ll be heading off to Clarity’s Summer Retreat in a few weeks for more crafting inspiration (there are still a few tickets left here), so decided it was high time I got another of the backgrounds used that I made on last year’s event! This was done by spritzing acrylic paint with water and then mopping it up onto card – such a lovely organic effect. Having, for once, chosen my background first, I then set about picking out a selection of Polychromo pencils in the right tones to shade my little trio with.

After colouring the ladies, I fussy cut them and used Pritt Stick to glue them onto my background which I’d cut down to then fit on a mount I’d cut from Antarctica companion paper with a Lattice Doodle Frame-It Panel Die. I added two of the sentiments from the accompanying set, lining them up together so they look like a single verse, and attached the finished piece to a 7×7 card blank.
