Amazing news!

Hello everyone! Have you checked out the latest Products of the Month from Clarity, which double the loyalty points on your whole shopping basket when you add any one of them? I’ve used two of them on today’s card – the Tall Art Deco Sentiments and the Tall Sentiment Embedder Stencil, which frames the sentiments perfectly. I decided they would work well with one of the Floral Spray Sampler images for a card of congratulations.

After cutting piece of premium card to fit on an A6 card blank, I stamped a floral spray square into the centre with black Archival ink. I then embossed a small frame either side of the image (using embedder #1 and a ball tool), having run a strip of low tack tape across the the card to then give me a guideline to ensure the bottom edges were all level. It was then easy to stamp the sentiments inside the frames.

For once, I managed to remember to choose my backing paper before colouring the image, finding a piece of Waimea Falls designer paper and then matching my Polychromos to it – I went with ‘pink madder lake’ (Spring), ‘madder’ (Autumn), ‘cobalt green’ (Summer) and ‘pine green’ (Winter). Having covered the card blank with the designer paper to give me a full border, I also ran a strip of it across the card front and called it finished!

You’ll be seeing a lot more of these stamps, I think – I love this font! I’m off to share this card with Triple B (spot the blooms!) and with We Love Stamping for their ‘anything goes’ option.
