Hello everyone. I’ve got an early peek for you of the new Build a Bloom stamps that Barbara is unveiling tomorrow on Clarity Social TV. It’s a fab little collection of three stamp sets that does exactly what it says on the tin – allows you to create your own flower designs by building the various stamps together. The product details aren’t out on the website yet, but I’ll add a picture and link here tomorrow once they’re released.
So, here’s my process, starting with a 5″ square piece of Clarity’s premium card. I started with set 3 of the stamps and stamped two of the blooms in ‘squeezed lemonade’ Distress Oxide, adding the additional element to the left one with ‘mustard seed’ and then the accent stamps in black Archival ink.

I then switched to Set 2 for the lower two flowers, following the same process with ‘squeezed lemonade for the base and ‘mustard seed’ for the top part, followed by black Archival ink for the ‘twiddly’ bits! I also added the stems using the thin line stamps in the sets.

I was then on to finishing touches – the bee from the Just Butterflies & Bees set, the sentiment from Timestamp Creations’ Mother Nature set, and the little dots from the Build a Bloom stamps. I ran a black Sharpie around the edge of my topper, added a mount of Indian Summer companion paper and attached the whole piece to a 6×6 card blank.

I’ll be tuning in to catch Barbara’s shows tomorrow (Friday) at 10am & 2pm UK time – not least to see what other inspiration there is from my Clarity design team-mates! I always the love the way we have the same stamps and yet come up with such a wide variety of styles and designs!
Before then, I’m heading over to a few current challenges to share this little creation. Clearly, the colour scheme has come from Colorful Options, I based the layout on the sketch at Inkspirational and it all fits the ‘monotone’ theme at Make My Monday too.

And finally, in other news, I can’t quite believe that this is my 2000th post on this little blog! I’ve come so far and learned so much over the last 6+ years – thank you all for coming on this journey with me. I’ve had so much support and encouragement over the years from comments on my posts – it’s all bee so appreciated. Onwards & upwards!
