Hello everyone. I’ve got the final sample from my Clarity Social TV shows last month to share with you today, featuring the lovely Posy Doodle Round stamp. I think this is just so pretty, plus it’s on clearance offer and won’t be remade once it’s sold out – and it’s at a great bargain price! I opted to simply highlight the floral design with Polychromo pencils – the fab thing about this approach is that you can simply choose which part of the image you want to pick out (or all of it, if that takes your fancy!)

The first step was to stamp the large doodle round image onto a small square of premium card (it just fitted!) I then spent a happy while shading it in with my Polychromos, highlighting the centre portion and the flowers around the outside with ‘earth green yellowish’ and ‘permanent green olive’ for the leaves and ‘pink madder lake’, ‘rose carmine’ and ‘madder’ for the flowers and inner ring.

I was trying to think of something different to do with the design and decided to chop it up into ’tiles’, then mounted them onto a layer of black card. I embossed a frame onto a 5×5 card blank with a square embedder and a ball tool (no surprise there!), attached the topper to sit inside it and finished with one of the KISS word stickers.

This design really reminds me of the spring blossom that’s in the trees at the moment – and it would look great in different colourways too. I did think afterwards that I could have used each of the tiles individually on little notecards – one for this stamp’s next outing!
I’m sharing this card with a few of the current challenges that are about florals – Beautiful Blossoms, Triple B and Cardz 4 Galz.

Thanks! Made a change from just sticking the topper in place… 😂

A pretty image, beautifully coloured and then cutting it into tiles made it totally unique. Brilliant!
