Hello crafty friends – I’ve got more Dotted Dragonflies to share with you today! Barbara will be showcasing these and the other new Clarity releases on HobbyMaker TV this afternoon (Weds 11th) from 1pm, so it’s the perfect time to share the last of my DT samples with you.

Having cut a topper to fit on an A6 card blank, I ran low tack tape down either side to create a central panel. I could then use stencil brushes to blend ‘uncharted mariner’, ‘speckled egg’ and ‘peeled paint’ Distress Oxides into the panel – I added the top and bottom inks first, then used the ‘speckled egg’ in the centre, blending it up into the blue above and green below to give me a smooth ombre effect.

It was then a simple matter to stamp one of the sentiments and a swarm of dragonflies around it in ‘watering can’ grey Archival ink. before adding the topper to the card blank.

Definitely simple and so easy to do! I’ll be tuning in to watch Barbara on HobbyMaker at 1pm today – she’ll have lots more inspiration to share with these fab stamps. First, though, I’m off to share these with We Love Stamping for their ‘wildlife’ theme, and with Allsorts for their ‘anything goes’ option.
