Pink Floral Sampler stamps

Hello friends. I finally managed to grab a bit of time to play with the new Floral Spray Sampler stamps from Clarity and just went for pink tones on these lovely images (bit of a switch from yesterday’s offering!) I took the opportunity to showcase several of the images by putting them on a slimline card – so easy for these square shapes.

I started with one of Clarity’s 8×8 card blanks and cut it in half with my guillotine, keeping the fold at the top, then cut a piece of stencil card for the topper. Onto that I stamped four of the sampler images – I positioned the top and bottom ones first, then could make sure that the middle ones were equally spaced. It was then time for a happy few minutes shading them with Polychromo pencils, using various combinations of ‘madder’, rose carmine’ and ‘pink madder lake’ on the flowers, plus ‘warm grey II’ and ‘nougat’ on the leaves and stems – I do like the soft combination of the pink & brown.

Having added one of the Bijou Retro Sentiments, it was then a simple matter of a mount of Indian Summer companion paper and attaching it to the card base.

The larger floral spray stamps have got some of my favourite images, so this was the perfect opportunity to use several of them on the same card with these smaller squares. I took inspiration for the layout from The Paper Players with the colours from Sunday Stamps, adding in the ‘pink flowers’ theme from Cardz4Galz. Thanks for dropping in – I’ll be back with another creative offering tomorrow!
