Hello everyone – here we are at Friday already! Life seems to be seriously motoring along these days! The good news, though, is that we’ve got our first challenge of 2026 at As You See It and it’s my turn to give you a ‘fill in the blank’ theme. I thought it would be fun to see what everyone has been buying recently, so we want you to share projects using your new stash. I’ve gone with the January stamps from Clarity’s Craft Club, having renewed my subscription at the end of last year.

I started with a 3.5″ square of stencil card that I’d used to clean pink ink from a brayer and stamped one of the circle sentiments onto it with black Archival ink.

I found a circle mask the right size in my folder (I think I cut it from blank mask material with a nested die), covered the centre of the image and then worked around the mask stamping the two little sets of flowers from the club set, alternating them as I went. Unfortunately, I’d misjudged the circle and didn’t have enough space to stamp the final pair in, so I masked off one of the flowers with low tack tape before inking it and then added a single image to fill the gap. I also went gently around the edge of the circle mask with a micron pen before removing it, which anchored the flowers around the sentiment.

I shaded in the flowers with pink & red Polychromo pencils, using different tones for the two images, then added a mount of companion paper and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

Don’t you think this little wreath of flowers is just so pretty? I took the pink tones from the palette at Color Dare and the focal sentiment works well for the Word Power challenge.
