snowflakes at Sparkles Challenge

Hello crafty friends. I’m a bit late today with my DT card for our new challenge at Sparkles where Melissa has given us ‘snowflakes’ as our theme. I’ve kept it very simple with one of Clarity’s Christmas Corners stamps, an Art Deco sentiment and the new sentiment embedder stencil – probably more products than you’d expect on such a CAS card!

Here’s a very quick rundown on my process… I took the embedder stencil and brushed ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Oxide onto the front of a 5×5 card blank through one of the apertures on the embedder stencil (I went bigger than the one that fits the sentiment).

I then simply inked up the snowflake corner stamp with ‘broken china’ Distress Oxide and added it to the inked rectangle, finishing with the sentiment too.

So simple! This would be a great design for batch making. And I know I said that I was going to do one Christmas card each week on Saturdays, but this is a bonus one – what else was I going to do with a snowflake theme?!
