Clarity Craft Club 2025 lookback – January

Hello crafty friends. I hope you had a lovely Christmas Day, however you spent it. I had a lovely afternoon with the family, including one of Santa’s elves who got very busy with the wrapping paper!

Meanwhile, back in crafting land, I’ve decided to spend the next few days working back through my 2025 Craft Club stamps, so unsurprisingly have started with January. This was the fab bears stamps & sentiment and you can see what I first made with it here. This time I switched it up for more of a wintery theme, starting with an alcohol ink print I pulled from a gelli plate during the online workshop with Barbara (which is still available here)

I stamped the bears onto super smooth white paper and added a little shading with grey polychromo pencils, then fussy cut them and glued onto the background print.

I added the sentiment, partly masking it each time I inked so I could split it into two parts (it’s one long stamp). Next was a mount of Shenandoah companion paper cut with one of my favourite Lattice doodle frame-it panel dies, then attached to a 6×6 card blank.

So, one day down on my trip back through this year’s Craft Club – 11 to go. This one’s headed for the galleries at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown (I went with ‘wild animals’ from their previous themes) and AAA Cards – not sure if my polar bears count as ‘white on white’ but this is definitely CAS. See you tomorrow!
