seasonal sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches 575

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the last CAS Colours & Sketches challenge of 2025. AS we do at this time every year, we’d like you to take any of the sketches or colours we’ve used during 2025 and make a seasonal card with it. I went with sketch #564 from back in July to make a Christmas card with Clarity’s silhouette holly stamps.

I kept it very CAS with a one layer design on a 5×5 card blank, stamping one of the holly sprays and sentiment in ‘library green’ Archival ink

I used one of my favourite square embedders to then emboss a frame around the holly. Finally, I needed to turn the berries red and found the perfect solution with the red Posca pen, just dotting it over the green stamped image (the paint from the pen covers the inked berries beautifully).

It doesn’t get much more CAS than that! You can find all our past challenges under the tabs at the top of the blog home page – so much to choose from! I’m heading off to share this card with a couple more challenges as well. CAS on Friday have got a Christmas theme this time round and We Love Stamping are looking for red & green on our cards – both boxes ticked!
