winter wishes for Christmas (or not) BINGO Challenge #16

Hello crafty friends and welcome to November! I’ve got a couple more cards to share with you today for blog challenges, starting with our new board at Christmas (or not) BINGO. The task with our board is to choose one column and use at least three of the elements on your card. I’ve taken column I for this month’s card, picking up winter, both icy blue AND lavender and an embossed frame – which gave me another excuse to play with Clarity’s Winter Build a Wreath stamps (not that I really needed one!)

So, having cut a piece of card to fit on an A6 card blank, I used one of Clarity’s rectangle embedders to emboss a narrow frame on it, then used a circle one to draw a couple of guidelines onto the card to create a swag shape. I took a couple of the leafy stamps from the set to follow the outline, alternating them in ‘shaded lilac’ and ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Oxides.

I carried on filling out the swag with more blue leaves, adding a bow at the top. I thought it needed a bit more contrast so scattered some of the little star clusters in ‘picked raspberry’.

I added the sentiment from Linda’s Winter Wishes set in the ‘tumbled glass’ and then simply attached the topper to the card blank.

I’ll confess that I CASE’d this from a previous card I made with this set, but I’m loving this colour combination. Have you decided which column you’ll use from our board?
