Hello again! I’m back with a second card for you, this time for our new theme of Harvest at As You See It Challenge. The inspiration photo gave me the perfect excuse to get my Autumn Build a Wreath stamps out again, although this time I’ve paired them with the Leafy Framer set.
I managed to weave a few other challenges into this card as well, starting with the palette at Creative Colour. Addicted to CAS‘s ‘thankful’ theme works nicely with the Harvest angle, together with the ‘autumn celebrations’ challenge at Time Out.
I used a 5×5 card blank for this one, embossing a frame on the front with a square embedder and then stamping the smaller corner from the Leafy Framer set within it using ‘potting soil’ Archival ink.
I shaded the framer image with Pergaliner pencils, then added a little row of pumpkins along it using ‘mustard seed’ and ‘barn door’ Distress Oxides – these little stamps sit perfectly on Clarity’s stamp pens, which makes them easy to dab on the edges of the inkpads to get the two colours. Finally, I filled out the frame with a couple of the leafy sprays in ‘rustic wilderness’.
It was a simple matter to finish the card with an appropriate sentiment from the Summer Tags & Frames set.
