Merry Christmas everyone!

Hello there. My Christmas card production is stepping up now and I’ve dipped back into my stash for another fab set from Clarity – the Elf Billboards stamps which come with matching dies (and there’s a seriously good offer on them in the current Clarity sale until Midnight on Sunday!).

I took inspiration from the layout at Freshly Made Sketches, adding in a piece of Antarctica designer paper for the background to then join Love Those Pretty Papers.

For once I’d actually got my act together before starting and had already chosen the designer paper for my background. Having stamped and die cut the Elves Billboard, I set about colouring them in with the matching tones for the paper (I have a terrible habit of colouring first and then spending ages searching for co-ordinating paper!) I then masked off the edges of the centre billboard, brushed ‘salty ocean’ Distress Oxide onto it and heat embossed a few little snowflakes from the Christmas Corners stamp set.

Having edged the Antarctica paper with a black Sharpie and ruler, I attached it to a 6×6 card blank and sat the topper on top. I finished with one of the Birthday & Christmas stickers, which I’d also edged with a Sharpie – I popped a strip of scrap card along the lower edge of it so it sat level across the topper.

How are your Christmas preparations going? Our little family of elves look like they’re good and ready, but I’m certainly nowhere near…!
