Mr Painter

Hello crafty friends! I had a very happy parcel arrive from Clarity yesterday, containing lots of the new goodies that were released while I was away travelling, so I grabbed the opportunity to put one of the sets into action to day – meet Mr Painter! This is such a fun set of characters, perfect for masculine cards and I put him to work on the sketch from AAA Cards (which I flipped) with the palette from Color Dare.

Having cut a piece of card to fit on an A6 card blank, I stamped Mr Painter and then covered him with the pre-cut reusable mask that comes as part of the set (I do think these masks are one of the best things about Clarity’s stamps) I could then add the paint splats in ‘chipped sapphire’ Distress Oxide.

I shaded Mr Painter with a dark blue Pergaliner pencil and the cream Polychomo one before adding the sentiment from the set. I covered the card blank with a piece of Shenandoah companion paper and popped the topper onto it.

I think I’m going to be having a lot of fun with these stamps!
