don’t be such a square

Hello there. I’m back with a quick look at one of the stamp & stencil sets I’ll be showcasing on Clarity TV tomorrow – I’m on at 10am & 2pm and this fun collection of Sam’s Shapes will be on my morning show. I’ve got a CAS card to share using the ‘don’t be such a square’ set – I used the lovely hot colours from Color Dare and also discovered that the fab little SHAC people fit inside the square images!

I grabbed a piece of card cut to fit on a 5×5 card blank, masked off a panel with low tack tape and blended ‘picked raspberry’ & ‘ripe persimmon’ Distress Oxides onto it using stencil brushes.

I stamped five of the square images across the panel with Versafine Clair black ink, popping one of the SHAC people into the little aperture.

I simply ran a black Sharpie around the card edges, attached it to the 5×5 card blank and finished with one of the woodblock word stickers.

So I’m off to get an early night before heading to Clarity Towers first thing tomorrow. Hope you can join me & Paul Church at 10am & 2pm for a bit of crafty fun!

  1. Love the two colors you used together for the ink blending (& I need ripe persimmon!!) and the images in black are perfect. Such a cute card. Thank you for sharing at Color Dare.
