French lace panel

Hello friends. I’m back with a second look at the new French Lace stamps from Clarity, which were launched today as part of their 10 year anniversary celebrations of the introduction of Groovi parchment craft to their stable! I have tried parchment craft over the years (Groovi makes it so accessible) but I’m certainly a stamper at heart, so was delighted to see these stamps adapted from some of the Groovi designs. I decided to go with heat embossing for one of the lace squares to create a panel, picking up the triplet theme from Inkspirational and ‘anything goes’ at We Love Stamping.

My starting point was a strip of Waimea Falls paper that was sitting in my companion paper folder – I simple heat embossed the lacy square onto it three times, stamping with clear ink then using WOW’s superfine fine white powder. I trimmed the paper to fit a 6×6 card blank, fussy cut the inner edge around the lacey images and stuck it into place using a Pritt glue stick.

I popped one of the Anniversary/Wedding rub on sentiments onto another bit of the Waimea Falls paper, trimmed it down, added a mount of white card and attached it into place.

These images are just so very pretty and I do love a repeating pattern!

  1. Gosh this is lovely – so elegant. 10 yrs! I can’t believe it has been ten years of Groovi – I decided to be firm with myself and not get into parchment craft back when it was launched and although I think it is beautiful I do think I made the right decision to not give myself another craft! 🤣 hate to think how much stash I would have if I took that up as well!
