sympathy at Christmas (or not) BINGO challenge

Good morning friends and welcome to May! A sympathy card probably isn’t the best way to start the month, but I thought this layout worked well for one after I’d pulled together the elements from column I on our new challenge board at Christmas (or not) BINGO. It gave me another excuse to play with the new elementree stamps from Clarity as well (not that I really needed one!)

I started with the ink blending and green elements from the grid, masking off a panel on the front of an A6 card blank with low tack tape. I blended ‘bundled sage’ and ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxides into the panel using stencil brushes.

I took two of the stamps from the set and stamped them across the card front with ‘watering can’ Archival ink as randomly as I could, so they looked like they were falling across it – that’s my stamped image from the grid.

It’s a one layer card (tick), so I simply added the entwined sentiment in the centre, again in ‘watering can’.

This would look good in a variety of colours – I just wish I’d made my blended panel a little wider. That aside, we’d love to see how you’re inspired by our grid – you just need to select one of the columns and include at least three of the elements on your creations.
