Hello crafty friends. I’ve been busy prepping all day so that my demos are ready for tomorrow’s shows on Clarity Social TV – we’ve got a bit of a masculine theme running through the day looking ahead to Father’s Day in June, plus a little something new that I’m very excited about! For today, I’ve got a look at the village & harbour stamp set that I’ll have on the 10am show – this is a very simple card using one of the gorgeous Amazonia designer card toppers.

I started by cutting the designer card down to a 5×5 square and stamped the houses across the far side of what looks like a lake in the paper. I shaded them in with Pergaliner pencils, then stamped, coloured and fussy cut the little rowing boat, attaching to the near shoreline.

I added a narrow mount of white paper followed by a co-ordinating piece of Amazonia companion paper, before attaching the topper to a 7×7 card blank and adding one of the KISS word stickers.

This reminds me of our trip to Canada last year – lots of lakes out there and boating is a popular activity! It just shows that what looks like a seaside stamp set can be easily changed by giving it a different background – and this fab designer card also deserves to be shared with Love those pretty papers!

So, I do hope you can join me on Clarity Social TV at 10am and 2pm tomorrow (via their Facebook page or YouTube channel) – it would be great to have your company!
