Well, it’s Tuesday again and time for our next challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches
– we’ve got a new layout for you to play with! Now, you may be surpirsed to see this stamp set featured, but the question is… when is a winter wreath not for winter? The answer is when you use spring colours (which just shows the versatility of these stamps)!

So, picking up my spring colours theme, I’ve pulled together Colorful Options, Color Dare and The Flower Challenges into this one.

This one’s nice and simple (nothing new from me there!) I used low tack tape to mask off a side panel on a small square of Clarity’s stencil card and selected three of the stamps from the winter wreath set, mounting them all on Clarity’s fantastic stamp pens. I randomly stamped the leafy spray in ‘tenacious teal’ Artistry ink (stamping it off on a sponge each time so it wasn’t blotchy), followed by the larger poinsettia in ‘cotton candy’ and the little one in ‘lush lilac’.

After removing the tape (carefully!) I drew a line along the edge of the panel with a black Sharpie and a ruler. I added one of the ‘occasions – happy birthday’ sentiments in black Versafine Clair ink, embellishing it with the leafy spray and little poinsettia. Finally I embossed a frme on a 5×5 card blank with a square embedder, added a mount of Rainbow River companion paper and attached the topper to the card.

There are so many possibilities with this sketch, but just remember to keep it CAS! And if you want to see more of these stamps in action, Barbara Gray will be on HobbyMaker TV tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4pm & 7pm.
