Hello crafty friends. I’m just popping in today with another quick card from Barbara’s show on Sunday, as I’m currently staying at a sunny Butlins in Skegness up on the East Coast – we come each year to Spring Harvest, a big Christian festival on the site. I’ve noticed there are art sessions every afternoon, but haven’t made it there today – maybe that’s one for tomorrow. Anyway, back to today’s card which uses the new quotes stamp set from Clarity, along with one of the little SHAC people – these are perfect for quick and simple cards

I started this one by cutting a small piece of card with one of the ‘hearts‘ nested square doodle fram-it panel dies, then used the smallest square embedder to emboss an inner frame onto it. I added the quote in ‘wilted violet’ Distress Oxide and perched one of the SHAC people on it, colouring them with a couple of orange Pergaliner pencils.

Having added a mount of purple Waimea Falls companion paper, I used the next size up embedder to emboss the front of a 5×5 card blank and sat the topper inside it.

These quotes and characters are great for small notecards – so many possibilities when they’re combined!
