Christmas foliage

Hello friends! I’ve got this week’s Christmas card to share with you today (which feels a bit odd when I’m in the middle of making Easter cards, but so far I’m staying on track with my ambition of making one each week!) I have to say, it does help to have Christmas blog challenegs that run through the year and I’ve picked up three with this card that uses Clarity’s winter build a wreath stamp set. ABC Christmas have reached E,F,G this time and I’ve taken F for focal sentiment, together with the foliage theme at Sparkles Christmas and the usual ‘anything goes’ at The Holly and Ivy.

Taking one of Clarity’s small squares of stencil card, I stamped three of the different leaves from the ‘build a wreath’ set in opposite corners, using ‘iced spruce’, ‘evergreen bough’ and ‘pine needles’ Distress Inks. I added three little red robins (also from the wreath set) and then made sure the ink was completely dry before heat embossing in gold the middle sized sentiment from the Let heaven & nature sing stamp set.

After adding a couple of mounts in dark green and gold card, I popped it on a 5×5 card blank and it was done!

I think this will be a good one for batch making later in the year!
