thank you framer

Hello crafty friends. I’m busy getting ready for tomorrow’s shows on Clarity Social TV (10am & 2pm), so thought I’d tempt you in with one of the stamp sets I’ll be featuring – the thank you framer set. These stamps are perfect for creating little scenes inside the large O (and you know I love a bit of masking and scene building!), but I’ve kept it simple with this one with a square of designer paper. The large sentiments are ideal for quick & easy cards and, with that focus, I’m going to share this one in the gallery at Word Power.

So I haven’t got a huge amount to say about the process for this card – it’s very straightforward! I cut a piece of Waimea Falls 8×8 designer paper into quarters and stamped the sentiment into the centre of one of them with black Versafine Clair ink, then added the little flourish and one of the butterflies.

I shaded the butterfly with Pergaliner pencils, then added a mount of black card that I’d cut with a ‘lattice‘ doodle frame-it panel die and attached the whole piece to a 6×6 card blank.

And that’s all there was to it! I’ve got more inspiration to share with you tomorrow, using these and other stamps – see you there!
