Hello everyone. It was such fun being back at Clarity Towers yesterday and so, as promised, here’s one of the cards I demonstrated during the 10am show. This one uses the ‘sunshine doodles‘ stamp set with the ‘scallop‘ nested circle doodle frame-it panel dies. I’ve pulled a few challenges together in this one (not bad for a small CAS card!), picking up the colours from Colorful Options, the ‘white on white’ effect from Double D and the centre focus from Addicted to CAS.

So, here’s the quick rundown on this little notelet. I started by cutting the topper with the scallop panel die, then used the positive circle piece from the ‘simple frames‘ stencil as an embedder to emboss a small frame. I stamped the little flower image in the centre and shaded it with Pergaliner pencils. The sentiment in this set are circular, but I just wanted it to arch over the flowers so masked the stamp off with low tack tape before inking it, lining the tape up with the start and end of the words I wanted. I inked it with ‘library green’ Archival ink, then removed the tape (a key step!) and added the sentiment above the flowers.

I used one of the nested circle embedders to emboss a frame on the front of one of the new 4×4 card blanks from Clarity and then simply attached the topper onto it.

This would make a great set of notecards to gift to someone, and lots of the other stamps in the set would work with this design too – here’s a couple more toppers that I had a play with…

I love the die pattern and how it showcases the image. So pretty.
