flowers with love

Hello crafty friends! I thought I’d share another of Clarity Crafts‘s KISS collection of flowers stamps today, this time going with the ‘celebrate your day‘ A7 set. I thought the fab little floral image would repeat well on a card front for the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments together with the fab colours from Color Dare and AAA Colourful challenges.

I cut a piece of Clarity’s Theuva (smooth) card to fit on a 5×7 card blank and stamped the flowers three times with ‘watering can’ Archival ink, turning the central one round to just break it up a little. I then set to work shading in the flowers with my pink & red Pergaliner pencils, using a couple of grey Polychromos for the leaves.

I decided it didn’t need much other embellishment as the flwoers are so pretty, so simply added one of the ‘bijou retro sentiments‘ with the ‘watering can’ before popping it on a mount of red Amazonia companion paper and onto the 5×7 card blank.

These little floral arrangements are definitely small but mighty! They work for so many occasions too, but this one’s probably aimed at my Valentine’s stock of cards.
