Clarity ATC swap – purple

Hello friends. I’ve got an ATC (artist’s trading card) to share with you today. In case you don’t know, these are small cards (3.5 x 2.5 inches) that are little works of art to be traded or swapped. Clarity Crafts have started a new intiative of mini makes to help reinvigorate everyone’s mojo for the new year – part of that has been a relaunch of their monthly ATC swaps (there’s a PTC one as well for the parchment crafters) and a new Facebook group for Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs  And Clarity even have a pack available that gives you ATC sized cards, a stamp for the back & polybags!

Each month we have a theme for the swap and January’s is ‘my stash & purple’ – Clarity are celebrating a Year of Colour for 2025. I chose to go with the ‘bijou floral alphabet‘ stamps as the focus on my little creation and another of my inky mop-up pieces that had purple on it (that’s several of those I’ve used this week!)

I cut my inky background down to the right size and popped a piece of low tack tape across it to help me line up the letters. I started with the C from the ‘floral alphabet’ then used the ‘letterbox alphabet‘ stamps to complete the word. I used the top of the C stamp to add flowers in the corners and then shaded then with my Pergaliner pencils – these are cornflowers, so the purple shading worked well.

All I then needed to do was edge the ATC with a black Sharpie and it was done!

My swap partner for this month has received it now, so it’s fine to share!  But I’m not done sharing yet as I’m also going to add it into the galleries at TGIFchallenges and Addicted to Stamps & More

  1. OMGoodness, I did not know Clarity Crafts has an ATC backer stamp! That’s fabulous – I’ve not seen one of these made by another company (but who knows… there may be some out there). Love it!
