Build-a-wreath for Christmas

Hello everyone! I’m back with the first peek of the year at some brand new stamps being launched on ClarityCrafts social TV tomorrow – you can watch on YouTube or via the Facebook link on their website. So, Barbara & Paul will be live from 3pm to 5pm bringing us a fantastic quartet of ‘build-a-wreath’ stamps (one set for each season). Now, I know I’ve already shared two Christmas cards with you this week, but this one doesn’t count for my 2025 one-a-week challenge, as it’s a DT sample so hasn’t gone into my personal stash! I am going to share it with The Four Seasons challenge (which feels appropriate as this is a seasonal collection), but especially becasue their theme this month is ‘winter’.

So, I started with one of Clarity’s 3.5inch squares of stencil card and traced a pencil circle onto it. I stamped the little berry leaves spray around it in ‘peacock feathers’ Distress Oxide, starting from the centre at the bottom and working upwards on each side, then added the little poinsettias & bow in ‘wilted violet’. Making sure the first lot of stamping was fully dry, I used Veramark clear ink to add the tiny star stamp into the centre of each poinsettia and the twiddle onto the bow, then heat embossed them with WOW’s superfine silver powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment from the ‘Christmas wreaths’ stamp set into the centre.

I used a square embedder to emboss a frame onto the front of a 6×6 card blank, then added a mount of Antarctica companion paper to the topper before attaching it to the card front.

So do come on over to Clarity Social TV and join in the fun tomorrow afternoon – there’ll be loads of inspiration from my design team-mates plus a big reveal on a brand new product from Clarity!
