Hello friends. I hope your Christmas celebrations have been filled with joy! We’ve had a family get-together today – so lovely to have 10 of us in the room, with lots of food & laughter. I’ve made a couple more cards to share with you that will be heading to friends with thanks for some of my lovely festive gifts, using the ivy leaves die (#24) from the back issues of Clarity‘s Craft Club. And the great news is that a bumper sale of all the Club back issues (excluding 2024) has started today – they are all just £2 for each edition (an absolute bargain!)

As you can see, I’ve gone with shades of blue thanks to Creative Colour challenges, and started by cutting the die into a piece of dark blue card. I’d put a layer of Stick It’s thin double sided adhesive on the back before cutting so it was them an easy matter to attach it to a square of stencil card that I’d previously used to clean my brayer one (you know I’ve got a lot of these!)

I wanted to use the inner veins on the leaves in a different colour, so cut the image again into a lighter blue card. I added the veins from that one onto this first image, then did the reverse with the lighter blue. After adding a mount of matching card to each piece, I simply attached them to 5×5 card blanks.

I do love getting a two-for-one, and these were pretty simply to make. They’d also work for any occasion, so worth grabbing this (and other Club dies) if you don’t already have it! When it’s gone, it’s gone!
