Christmas nativity

Happy Happy Christmas Day everyone! Just a quick post today to spread good wishes with this card I made using ClarityCrafts ‘miniature nativity’ stamps and the ‘highland treescape’ mask set, using colours that reflect the Middle East.

A quick rundown on my process – I laid the ‘highland treescape’ masks onto a small square of Clarity’s stencil card then, removing them one at a time from the bottom up, I blended ‘antique linen’, ‘carved pumpkin’ & ripe persimmon’ Distress Oxides onto the card, replacing each mask section after blending. I used ‘black soot’ on the sky area, starting with a brush then using a sponge to really deepen the color.

I then simply stamped the nativity image and star with black Archival ink and mounted it onto a 5×5 card bank (obviously with a frame embossed into it using a square embedder!)

I wish you all joy and peace this Christmas time xx
