happy alphabet

Hello friends. I’m back with another tempter for you from ClarityCraftsYear of the Alphabet sale, this time the ‘happy alphabet‘ A4 set.

I love these letters with their sweet little flowers – ideal for getting another of my thank you cards ready! I’ve sparkled it up as well to pick up the theme at The Flower Challenge and am also going to share it with Word Power

I started with one of my inky mop-up pieces from cleaning ink off my craft mat and stamped the letters onto it using black Archival ink. I used a piece of masking tape for a guideline to get them level, although had to move it to stamp the Y; I’d also marked the centre on the tape and started with the middle letter for each word, working outwards so they were nicely centred. I could then shade the letters with my Pergaliner pencils.

I wanted to jazz it up a bit so, inspired by The Flower Challenge, I went over the letters with a Quickie glue pen and scattered Pergaglitter to make them sparkle.

Having let the glue dry, I ran a black Sharpie around the edges of the topper. I then used a square embedder to emboss a frame onto the front of a 5×5 card blank before attaching the topper in the centre.

Thanks for dropping in. Dion’t forget these stamps are currently at 30% off in Clarity’s Yer of the Alphabet sale – not a bargain to be missed!
