Hello there! Time for our next theme at Alphabet Challenge and we’re now up to R for Round. I’m still playing with the fab ‘letterbox gnomes’ from Clarity Crafts – you met Gnorman a couple of days ago, so now meet his bestie Gnorbert! I’ve sat him inside one of the ‘Christmas Rounds’ stencils to meet the challenge theme, but he’ll also be putting in an appearance at the galleries for AAA Cards, Just Us Girls and Stencil Fun.

I started with the holly wreath from the Christmas Rounds stencils, and brushed ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxide through it onto a 5 inch square of stencil card. I then stamped Gnorbert onto the bottom of the wreath, coloured him with Pergaliner pencils and added one of the mini sentiments into his letterbox.

I felt the wreath needed a little more definition, so used a purple pencil to bring out the berries, then added a mount of Indian Summer companion paper. I used one of my favourite square embedders to emboss a frame on the front of a 6×6 card blank, which the topper sat perfectly within.

Do come on over to Alphabet Challenge and join us – just remember to include something round on your card. There’s lots more inspiration over them from the design team to get you started.
