happy birthday framer

Hello friends. I’m back with another look at the new ‘Jayne’s floral sampler‘ A4 stamp set from ClarityCrafts, keeping it simple with some designer paper and the frame from ‘Jayne’s bijou framer‘ set. Although it’s a small stamp, the sentiment is the focus of this card so I’m going to share it with Word Power as well as Love Those Pretty Papers

I started with a piece of my favourite Antarctica paper and stamped the framer onto it with black Archival ink before cutting out the centre with the second smallest of the nested square dies (it’s a perfect fit for the stamp size!) I took a 5×5 card blank and stamped the single image in the centre, making sure it was lined up exactly with where the aperture in the paper would sit. I used Pergaliner pencils to colour in the little pattern on the stamp.

I filled in the lines on the framer stamp with a purple Pergaliner pencil and glued the paper onto the card front. The final touch was to emboss an additional frame using a square embedder.

This is a bit of a different look for me, but I’m really pleased with how it came together. It’s another great way to use up those designer paper off-cuts.
