Q for Quick & Easy at Alphabet Challenge

Hello everyone. We’ve got a new theme today at Alphabet Challenge – we’re now up to Q and Helen has opted for Quick & Easy (my favourite style!) I still haven’t put the new treescape stamps & masks from ClarityCrafts away, so picked up the ‘woodland‘ set and got myself ready.

Now. I’m very proud of myself because I used my latest little mop-up piece of card for the background, from cleaning my craft mat after Wednesday’s card – it hadn’t even made it into the storage folder! I stamped the tree onto it, then lightly brushed ‘picked raspberry’ across the moon mask. I stamped the little bunny twice (once in ‘watering can’ Archival, and then with ‘shadow grey’) and brushed a little ‘mowed lawn’ across one of the landscape masks to give them and the tree ground to sit on.

I then stamped the leaves over the tree branches, followed by the flock of birds plus the sentiment from the ‘summer tags & frames‘ set. I added a narrow white mount, followed by a grey layer and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

So that’s my Quick & Easy contribution – just some stamping on an inky background! While you think about what you might come and share with us at Alphabet, I’m going to add this in the galleries at CAS on Friday for their ‘birthday’ theme and Make My Monday, where they’re looking for ‘wild animals’ (although those bunnies look pretty placid to me!)
